Equitainment's Comments

This is a very hard-to-find book that rarely appears for sale. It was published in 1996 by Harper Collins publishers, New Zealand. All the pages are intact and tightly bound with some foxing (yellowing). The cover and the book in general, is in very good condition.

Product Overview

It is not a girl thing that stops Jos Bryant, 17, from going overseas with his mother and her new husband. Rather, it's an overpowering urge he has to track down the father he doesn't know, a bushman he idolises in his imagination

Two strangers enter Jos' travels. The secretive Beth Scott, a girl with a mysterious sixth sense and a passion for animals, and a magnificent wild stallion that symbolised the rugged freedom they both, in different ways, long to have.

Jos hopes tht his father can help to save the herd of endangered wild horses. But deep in the bush this man hides a sinister secret of his. own
