Product Overview

"I don't reckon that colt belongs to anybody ... but some day he's going to belong to me" Ollie Bentley declared, when he first saw the sorrel colt.

The colt was the offspring of a thoroughbred mare who was stolen by horse theives and then turned loose. The mare adapted herself rapidly to the wild state and her colt grew up with that fierce love of freedom possessed by all wild horses.

His struggle for survival amidst the many dangers which beset him is described with a wealth of vivd and exciting detail.
