Jamie's Summer Visitor
NoteThis is a USED book.
To children living north of the Equator Christmas means winter, snow, roaring fires and mistletoe, but for Australian children Christmas comes at a time when the sun is at its hottest and they celebrate with cool drinks and picnics. But Jamie's Christmas (or summer) holidays this year are considerably enlivened by the presence of Nola, the daughter of a friend of Jamie's mother. Nola comes from Sydney. She has never been in the outback before and she is uncertain of her surroundings. She can't even ride a horse and it is this which nearly causes disaster and nearly ruins Jamie's Christmas altogether.
