Dear Judy,
So much has happened in just one week. Joker, the beautiful palomino, was assigned to me, and I'm a good enough rider to be in the intermediate class!

We started off on an overnight trail ride but we had to turn back because Dru fell off her horse. I wrote to you about Dru, my bunkmate. She's been very unhappy and not any fun to be around, and she's even afraid of horses! Can you believe it??!! But I have a plan to make her feel better. I'll let you know how it works out.
