The new BLACK CAVIAR dvd will be shipping next wednesday, so please make sure you have your orders in now. I can't wait for this one to arrive and have now started counting sleeps.

While I think the documentary part of the two disk set will be wonderful, I'm especially looking forward to the second disk which has every one of her races on it. I missed the first few so can't wait to catch up on those again.

I wonder how long before a they make a movie about her? I'm guessing as soon as her first foal is born will be the most likely time. If anyone has any inside information, or has heard a rumour, let me know and we'll share it with the horsey world.

HEARTLAND SEASON 5, PART 2

HEARTLAND SEASONS 1 - 5 BOX SET

I've finally been able to track down the complete seasons of the Saddle Club TV series. The only problem is that it is coming from the USA, so you do need an all-region player.

There is most likely by now, an entirely new generation of young horse addicts who have never seen an episode of Saddle Club. I've had the most enormous amout of trouble in being able to get hold of some copies, but thankfully it is now available again.

The four movie-length episodes are available in one set, and the Complete Season 1 and the Complete Season 2 are available seperately.

I haven't been able to find the final Season that features the new cast yet, but I will keep on the case.

The story is quality all the way, and a hardback too, so it's sure to become a collectible in the future as well

BUG BOY - Hardback teen fiction by Eric Luper

I'm not usually a huge fan of romance fiction, but as this one has received so many good reviews, I gave it a go. Thank heavens I did as it's a beauty. Set in 18th century Italy and based around the famous Palio horse race, it's gutsy and action packed. This book is a great way to learn about one of the oldest horse races in the world, all set in a great story.
