I hope everyone had a very safe and happy Christmas Day yesterday and Santa was kind to one and all. I had a lovely day with family, except for thev very strange Sydney weather. We all sweltered in 38 degree heat on Christmas Eve and then we nearly froze to death yesterday.

Expecting a typically hot Christmas Day, my family planned a lovely cold buffet meal outside in the gorgeous Australian summer. Oh dear! It bucketed down rain and we all nearly froze to death. We had to bolt our lunch down, and then rush inside and turn all the heaters on. My dear old dad was even starting to turn blue!

I just heard on the radio we had the wettest Christmas Day in 70 years. You've just got to love Australia, haven't you!

This year, I thought I would get in the great Boxing Day sale tradition. I've just put a whole lot of DVD's and books in the sale box, some of them marked down by up to 75%.
