Finally Pay Pal is up and running on the website. I know it has taken me much to long to get it organised, and I do deserve a very big slap for not doing it earlier, but better late than never!A big thank you to Mark, my long suffering website builder who set it all up for me.
The other good news is, that in working out Pay Pal he also found out why the shopping cart occasionally crashes. Being a total techno-phobe I was frustratingly clueless about it all, but apparently it was something to do with using Internat Explorer as a search platform. All fixed now and there shouldn't be any more crashes from now on. TOUCH WOOD!
The very brave and gallant Mark, has also put a new section on the home page full of sale items. I've already added a stack of items in, so pop in and have a look on the HOME PAGE.Most of the items have been discontinued by the distributors or publishers, or have been reissued with new covers. I can't advertise them or put them in catalogues as I don't can't rebuy them, so it's time to say goodbye.

There are also several children's book series that I can't get any more, several of which I'll be very sad to see go. I love the PONY MAD PRINCES SERIES by DIANA KIMPTON. Princess Ellie has to spend too much time doing boring things like have waving lessons, when all she really wants is to be in the stables and having adventures with her beloved ponies. Enter DIANA KIMPTON in the author search box on the home page and all the books will list.
The ANIMAL ARK SERIES by LUCY DANIELS series is another really popular one and one that has caused me a lot of confusion in the past. It was originally published under the authors orginal name, Ben M Bagli, but later republished in the pen name of LUCY DANIELS. It took me ages to work out they were the same person, with me thinking they were two different series. Gosh it's confusing when publishers do that. An don't start me printing the same book with two different titles. Strewth. Nevertheless they are great stories for young readers and well worth having in your library. Enter the name LUCY DANIELS in the author search box on the home page for a complete list of titles.
It's always much more difficult to find good horse stories for boys than it is for girls. The BILLY AND BLAZE books written and illustrated by C W ANDERSON are so good and are going to be very sadly missed. It's an adventure series for young readers, originally published in the 1930's through to 1950's. Not only are they exciting stories, the ADVENTURES OF BILLY AND BLAZE revolve around proper care of the horse, while also teaching a lesson. Enter the name C W ANDERSON in the author search box on the home page for a complete list of titles.
There are also other all-time favourites such as MAGIC PONY by ELIZABETH LINDSAY, UNICORN'S SECRET (fantastic) by KATHLEEN DUEY, KATIE PRICE'S PERFECT PONIES and many more.
Take a moment to have a look through, but it's first in best dressed.
I've been blown away by the huge success and demand for the two Buck Brannaman DVD's. Just in case you don't know who Buck Brannaman is, he is the real-life character the movie "The Horse Whisperer" was based on.Recently a documentary, just called BUCK, was made on his life which went on to win a ton of awards including Best Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival, a nomination at the last Academy Awards, as well as many others.
Due to this film's runaway success, a set of training DVD's, 7 CLINICS WITH BUCK BRANNAMAN, has also been released showcasing his very gentle and quiet training philosophies. I've been hearing rave reveiws about the training dvd's from people who have already watched them, and they are flying out the door.
I also keep both the books based on Buck Brannamans life, FARAWAY HORSES and BELIEVE: A HORSEMANS JOURNEY.
All of these would make terrific Christmas presents, but please order early. I'm having trouble keeping up on stock and would hate for anyone to miss out.
BUCK - documentary DVD
7 CLINICS WITH BUCK BRANNAMAN - training DVD's
FARAWAY HORSES - Book on Buck Brannaman's life
BELIEVE: A HORSEMAN'S JOURNEY - the sequel to Faraway Horses
I've had this book before and absolutely loved it, but it was only available in hardback, which a lot of people didn't like. It's now out in a softcover edition making it a much better option for a lot of people.Although the author is American, and the family in the story emigrate from the USA, it is still a good Aussie yarn. It's also set in the Southern Highlands of NSW, right where I live, so it has that extra bit of meaning for me. A ripping yarn and an excellent choice for boys.

This book has been a best-seller for a long time now, but the publisher ran out of stock and I had to wait for a re-print before I could get it back in again and that seemed to take forever. My Australian Story is a terrific series published by Scholastic Australia that combines both history and a great Aussie legend.
I keep two books in the series all the time, one being ARCHER'S MELBOURNE CUP by VASHTI FARRAR and the other being THE PHAR LAP MYSTERY by SOPHIE MANNON and I highly recommend both. I'll also be getting some other titles in for my annual Australia Day promotion in January,
