Equitainment Newsletter - Christmas 2008 Gift-Book Releases

In This Newsletter
FINALLY … here is your long awaited newsletter. I could give you a billion reasons why there hasn’t been one for such a long time, but the truth is I’ve just been so busy the weeks turned into months, and before I knew it, Christmas was here again.
Everything in this catalogue is either one of my own favourites or a best-seller so you shouldn’t go wrong with anything at all. I buy a large proportion of my stock from overseas, so please be early with anything you might want as some things will run out and I can’t promise I will be able to get more in before Christmas (although I will try).
I’ve snuck this in on this newsletter because it’s selling like crazy and I’m going to run out for sure. I will re-order it before Christmas, but I’ll need to get an idea of how many people want it so I know how many more to order.
HOLD YOUR HORSES - “Nuggets of truth for people who love horses …. no matter what”. This is one of my favourites and a perfect gift. Full of colour cartoons and quips that take a lighter look at horse riding that everyone will relate to. A RIPPER! - $22.50
A PONY IN THE PICTURE - Vintage Portraits of Children & Ponies Hardback. I’ve done my best find unusual and interesting books and this is one of them. It’s full of vintage, sepia coloured photos of children and their ponies from days long past. I like it a lot and it’s not something you would easily find in the shops - $34.95
THE HORSE IN AUSTRALIA - Hardback Non-Fiction Book By Fiona Carruthers. From Phar Lap to Makybe Diva, Garryowen to Picasso, and Our Solo to Peppermint Grove, Australians love their horses with unrivalled passion. Be it Clydesdale, the mighty Waler, or a Snowy Mountains brumby, the horse more than any other animal helped develop Australia and has remained fundamental to our sense of national identity. I haven’t read this one yet but Teresa (my trusty helper and president of horse book addicts anonymous) has started it and is thoroughly enjoying it - $49.95
EQUESTRIAN STYLE - Hardcover Coffee-Table Book By Vicky Moon. Home design, couture and collections from the eclectic to the elegant. I’m quite a fan of Vicky Moons books and she’s outdone herself with this one. She takes us through stylish equestrian themed interiors, art, architecture, clothing and people inspired by the classic horse motif. Stunning! $120.
