Earlier in the year there were reports that the new Lone Ranger film starring Johnny Depp had been shelved due to rising costs. Apparently the additional funding has now been found, and the movie is back on track.

I have received heaps of phone calls and emails from people asking me if I had seen War Horse yet and what I thought of it. Just like all we horse fans, I was really concerned at how much I was going to cry and how graphic the war scenes would be. Now after finally seeing it, I can happily report all is well. Go and see it, and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

I'm sure a lot of you have read and fallen in love with the delightful children's book "The Little White Horse" by Elizabeth Goudge. Well it has been made into a simply stunning movie that was never released here in Australia, either in the cinemas or on DVD.

Steven Speilberg has signed with Disney to direct his first cinema release since the last Indianna Jones movie, and it's going to be WAR HORSE! With a legend like that directing, the film is sure to receive massive budgeting and attract an all-star cast!

The first DVD of the long-awaited Heartland TV series is now in. It's been divided into two parts, Season 1 part one and Season 1 part two. Part two should be in during November so you will still be able to get in time for christmas
